Travel insurance for your holidays in Switzerland: protection for a worry-free trip

Skiing, lakeside holidays or hiking - whether in winter or summer, Switzerland is still the destination of choice for your holidays.

Just a few kilometres from home, you can already get a real change of scenery. Why go further afield?

Our travel insurances are aimed at Swiss residents and can cover you for any trip of up to 30 km away from your home. Our options are therefore interesting for any trip, whether outside Switzerland or to one of the cantons.

But I'm already insured here in Switzerland...

You are certainly covered for accidents and illnesses, but this is very limited, particularly when it comes to repatriation or emergency transport: the costs, which are not partly reimbursed, can be very high.

Travel insurance such as our Comfort option, which is the most comprehensive, also offers you many additional guarantees: cover for your luggage, cancellation and interruption insurance (flight, transport, accommodation, activities, etc.), Dogs & Cats extension (if you have a pet), concierge service, etc.

All this means you can leave for your trip to Switzerland with the greatest possible peace of mind, knowing that you are protected and assisted in the event of the unexpected.

Our travel insurance policies are perfectly suited to the needs of solo travellers, couples or families for a weekend or short break, whether 30 km from home or much further afield.

Temporary or annual travel insurance?

If you're sure you're only going to be away once or twice in the next 365 days, and you don't want to make a year-long commitment, opt for temporary insurance: you'll only be covered for the trip to Switzerland (or abroad) that you specify when you take out the policy.

On the other hand, if you plan to travel at least 3 times a year (or with your family), it's much better to choose annual insurance: this will cover all your weekends, holidays or stays in Switzerland (or abroad) at a very competitive rate. The number of trips is unlimited.

You can take out the Essential option for as little as CHF 120 as an individual or CHF 190 as a family.

Why choose travel insurance for your stay in Switzerland?

The unexpected can happen quickly, even when you're travelling in your own country. And for peace of mind, there's nothing like travel insurance.

Travel insurance covers travellers before and during their stay in Switzerland against many unforeseen events.

It also gives you peace of mind and financial protection.

An accident while travelling can quickly become very expensive.

Repatriation, even from a Swiss canton, often costs several thousand Swiss francs. Not to mention the cost of interrupting your trip, the impact on the travel of those accompanying you... That's why travel insurance is essential.

Your basic insurance and accident cover will only cover a tiny fraction of what you'll have to pay, so it's essential to protect yourself further. You can calculate your premium free of charge here.
